Welcome back everyone! We have had a busy and exciting first week back after the October break.

Our school football team took part in the Springburn Football Festival. Well done to everyone who represented our school and showed great teamwork and sportsmanship!

In Maths, we have been developing our knowledge of place value and rounding decimals. In Literacy, we have started our new reading books and made predictions about what might happen next. We have also been exploring similes to make our writing more descriptive and had a go at writing our own descriptions of a spooky castle.

In Music, we have started working with our new music coach and learning a new instrument, the tin whistle! In Art, we have been exploring Tim Burton’s unique characters and spooky style to inspire our own artwork.

It has been a great first week back! Have a lovely weekend, everyone! 😊
