Weekly Update P4b

What a busy and exciting week we’ve had in P4B!

In maths, we had great fun during our Active Measure lesson. We have been learning all about volume and capacity, comparing different amounts, making sensible estimates, and then measuring to check our thinking. The water stations were a big hit! The children loved getting hands-on; pouring, testing, and investigating which containers held more or less. It was wonderful to see so much curiosity, teamwork, and mathematical thinking in action. There were lots of great discussions and predictions before measuring, which really helped develop their understanding.

In P.E., we continued working on our gymnastics sequences. The children have been creating short routines in groups that include a roll, a balance, and a jump. They showed fantastic cooperation and confidence while performing for one another. We also practised giving peer feedback, sharing positive comments and helpful suggestions so everyone can improve their routines next week. I’ve been so impressed with their encouragement and teamwork.

Well done P4b for another very successful learning week! I hope everyone has a great long weekend.
