This week, Primary 4b have been absolutely fabulous!
In Health and Wellbeing, we focused on teamwork active challenges and used our learning from the PATHS programme to help us think about winning and losing in positive ways. We talked about how to manage big feelings, encourage one another, and show good sportsmanship. It was lovely to see the children supporting their teammates, celebrating successes together, and handling setbacks with resilience and kindness.
We also worked hard on our spelling, practising through a variety of active spelling strategies. From games and partner work to movement-based activities, the children enjoyed learning in fun, engaging ways that helped build their confidence and accuracy.
In numeracy, we consolidated our multiplication and division skills through active game stations. The class rotated around different challenges, applying their knowledge in practical and interactive ways. The energy and enthusiasm in the room were fantastic, and it was great to see everyone explaining their thinking and helping each other solve problems.
Our creative play area continues to be a big hit too! The children have loved exploring imaginative play, building, designing, and collaborating with their friends. These experiences support creativity, communication, and teamwork, all while having lots of fun!
Well done, P4b, you’ve worked incredibly hard this week. Keep it up!
