This week the children enjoyed a range of learning experiences themed around Christmas. We started with reading comprehension following poetry study. We planned our Character writing from a famous John Lewis Christmas advert. After watching the nativity story the children were able to create actions and pictures to identify the main points of this story, next week we will create a summary from this prior learning. In numeracy we are focused on using sharing to support division word problems and creating tally sheets and bar graphs for Data Handling. The children loved spending Thursday Morning in our playroom. This week the children all performed their solo talks accompanied by some fibulas posters showcasing all the research they did for each talk.
