We have had a very busy week in P4. On Tuesday the children learnt about Remembrance day and created some beautiful poppies to mark this occasion. We are very interested in learning about Black History Heroes, to continue our learning from Black History Month In October. This week we learnt about Rosa Parks, we created some beautiful drawings of her and learned to write a summary of events in her life. For this weeks Recount Write the children recounted their experience during our showcase last week. Everyone has improved their writing so much already this term. In maths we have begun to count a range of values with coins, and convert these between pennies and pounds using a decimal place. This week we have also created some beautiful Christmas card designs for a competition run by Taylor Whimpey. The winning child will have their card sent out to all Taylor Whimpey residents. Permissions slips will be sent out on Monday!
