Happy September weekend!

I hope you have all enjoyed your weekend. Thursday’s open afternoon was a lovely way to round up last week and it was so nice to meet some of you for the first time! to summarise last week, the children performed very well in a procedural writing task during which they explained how to prepare apples and honey, relating to our lessons on Rosh Hashanah! We also moved onto addition using partitioning, which the children are becoming more confident in as every lesson passes. Finally, attached below is a picture from a Health and Well-Being lesson in which we read and discussed the book ‘Beautiful Oops’ before turning “mistakes” or “scribbles” into works of art.
