Another busy week in p4a! This week we have been working hard on our procedural writing; using good time openers, imperative verbs and adverbs when giving clear instructions. In reading we have been exploring characterisation, as well as building on our reading skills and strategies. This weeks Maths focus has been on Multiplication, where we have been using different strategies to solve multiplication calculations, we have also been listening to some times tables songs and playing some multiplication games to support quick recall of tables facts. Our skip counting is getting really good!
During our Scottish Wildlife topic this week we have done some independent research to create animal fact files, and we have looked more closely at habitats within Scotland for different animals. We also continued our stations of leaf art, tessellation and animal classification!
In Paths this week we have continued to add more emotions to our comfortable and uncomfortable list, whilst exploring what these emotions look at feel like and sharing our own experiences and strategies. We have also been really good at complimenting our classmates!
