Good afternoon,
It was lovely to see some of you yesterday at the second parents’ evening of the term. This week, the children began measure in Maths during which they had to measure the length of classroom items in cm and metres, as well as planned a new persuasive writing piece on why children should have pets. In RME, we had a great lesson surrounding International Women’s Day and discussed why this day exists and learned about an inspirational woman: Marie Curie. In reading, the children predicted what would happen in their reading books before finishing their book and reflected on how close they were to what actually happened. For our rainforest topic, we explored the four layers of the rainforest and pictured below is all of the notes the children took during their learning!
Have a fantastic weekend,
Miss Love
