In Numeracy, we have been learning about grouping and fractions. We used lots of concrete and visual materials to help us understand our learning and build confidence with these new concepts.

In Literacy, we have started procedural writing and have made fantastic progress with our sentence structure. We are also learning about different sentence openers to help make our writing more interesting and engaging.

In the playroom, we have been learning about Wallacewell Road as part of our topic all about our community. We got creative and designed our own community parks, thinking carefully about all the things we would love to have in a local park. We then worked in pairs to build our parks and showed excellent teamwork by listening to each other’s ideas and opinions.

In Music, we focused on rhythm using musical instruments and had a go at reading musical symbols. We had lots of fun exploring different beats and patterns together.

We also enjoyed our fantastic Summer Disco where we danced all night and took part in lots of fabulous party games with our friends. Everyone had a wonderful time showing off their best dance moves!
