Primary 1b Wallacewell Primary

This Week in P1B

What a busy and exciting week we’ve had in P1B! The children have been working hard and enjoying lots of different activities.

In Numeracy, we’ve been building our confidence with numbers 0-10. We also explored 2D shapes, learning how to recognise them and talk about their sides and corners.

In Literacy, we learned two new sounds: p and n. This means we’ve now covered s, a, t, i, p, and n. The children have been practising blending and spotting these sounds in words, which has been wonderful to see.

We also enjoyed some music time, where we focused on rhythm and keeping to the beat. The children showed great enthusiasm and energy!

Our exciting superhero topic continued, and this week we got creative by designing our very own superheroes made from potatoes! They were fantastic, and the children were so proud of their creations.

And of course, we can’t forget school photos – we managed to fit those in as well!

Thank you, as always, for your continued support at home. It really makes a difference in your child’s learning.
