It has been a fantastic few weeks of learning and we have been enjoying exploring our initial sounds. We are growing in confidence identify words beginning with the sounds we have been learning.
In Numeracy, we have been enjoying exploring subitising and discovering the many different ways we can make numbers up to 10. We have also been learning about 2D shapes and exploring their different properties. Through lots of fun, active play activities, we have been developing our understanding of shapes and symmetry, finding symmetrical patterns and identifying shapes in the world around us. We have loved learning through movement, games and hands-on activities!
In the Playroom, we have loved exploring our Superheroes topic, and this week we finished our learning about Journeys. We had great fun role-playing an open-top bus tour around Glasgow city centre and enjoyed learning about some of the different landmarks we could see along the way.
We have had a busy and exciting few weeks of learning, playing and exploring together!
