Primary 1b Wallacewell Primary

Another Fun Week in Primary 1b!

P1 have enjoyed another busy and productive week of learning.

In Literacy, we explored the story One Button Benny and took part in discussions about the characters and events in the book. We also used our artistic skills to draw illustrations inspired by the story and shared our ideas with the class.

Creativity continued in Art, where we designed and made our own robot collages. Using a variety of shapes, colours and materials, we carefully constructed unique robot characters and enjoyed bringing our imaginative ideas to life.

In Maths, we have been learning about halves and quarters. We explored how shapes can be divided into equal parts and discussed the importance of making sure each part is the same size. To help us understand this concept, we made our own pizzas and looked at cutting them into halves and quarters. This fun, hands-on activity helped us develop our understanding of fractions in a real-life context.

We only have a few weeks left before the Summer holidays begin – let’s keep working hard together!
