Despite our many rehearsals for our Nativity, Born in a Barn, Primary 1a have still managed to pack in some fantastic learning experiences this week!
In the playroom, we’ve been busy helping the Jolly Postman by finding the most efficient route for him to deliver all his letters. We even worked in our own post office, sorting and delivering mail just like real postal workers.
We also put our creative skills to the test by building different kinds of transport to help Santa deliver toys to all the boys and girls around the world.
In literacy, we had great fun describing our naughty Christmas elf. The children worked very hard to sound out their words independently – super effort all round!
In maths, we are learning to tell the time using an analogue clock. We are now excellent at recognising o’clock times, which means the countdown to Christmas is officially underway!
Rehearsals for our Nativity have been amazing, and Primary 1a cannot wait to perform for a real audience next week. We are so proud of their hard work and enthusiasm.
What a wonderfully festive week! 🌟🎄
