This week, Primary 1A have been very busy learners!
In Literacy, we focused on the sounds ‘f’ and ‘o’. The children enjoyed practising how to form the letters and spotting where they could hear these sounds in words — at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end. They are becoming fantastic sound detectives!
In Maths, we explored symmetry and had fun finding symmetrical patterns and shapes around us. We also continued practising our addition skills, using different strategies to help us solve number problems.
In Topic, we learned about Guy Fawkes and why we celebrate Bonfire Night. The class discussed how to keep safe around fireworks and shared some brilliant safety tips.
Finally, we’ve started learning the songs for our Nativity — the children are already singing beautifully, and we can’t wait to share their performance with you all soon!
Well done, Primary 1A, for another fantastic week of learning! 🌟
