Qualifications you gain
You’ll achieve a Foundation Apprenticeship (Group Award) in Scientific Technologies at SCQF Level 6, which includes:
- Three units of the National Certificate in Applied Sciences at SCQF Level 6
- Five units of the SVQ in Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities at SCQF Level 6
Where it could take you
- Gain entry to the Life Sciences Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 7
- Progress to a Technical Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 8
- Move on to an HNC, HND or degree in a related subject
- Start work in the industry
