Chess Club
Our chess club has an amazing 26 members!
We meet regularly on Wednesdays at 3:05pm – 4:05pm.
Players are at a very high standard and enjoy the competitive nature to try and break into the CHESS TEAM!
Chess Team
KPS has entered a team into the Glasgow Chess League.
6 players have been selected to represent the school in our league matches.
We have played two matches so far:
- a win for KPS vs Thorniebank Primary (4.5 – 1.5)
- a defeat against St Patrick’s Primary (2 – 4)
the same six players were selected for both matches:
- Dunya, Adi and Lewis from P7
- Arshan, Lochan and Rylan from P6
Upcoming fixtures to be scheduled include:
- St Mark’s, Glasgow Academy Prep
- Hillhead
