Students who are eligible for Free School Meals are given the cash equivalent of £1.90 per day to spend on a meal. Children who attend nurseries may also be entitled provided that they are in receipt of one of the below qualifying benefits and the establishment signs the application to confirm that the child has a full time place.
All school meals in Glasgow’s primary and secondary schools are provided by Cordia (Services) LLP, part of Glasgow City Council. The dining area in schools is called the Fuel Zone and offers a great value service where pupils can enjoy a tasty and healthy lunch.
