Resistors in series and parallel

1.   Write down a formula that can be used to find the total resistance of three resistors connected in series.

2.   Write down a formula that can be used to find the total resistance of three resistors connected in parallel.

3.   The circuit diagrams below show resistors connected in series. Calculate the total resistance of the circuits.
