Exploring a seed

Primary 6b having taken part in an experiment and have explored the inside of a seed. They were able to make their predictions as to what could be inside. “I think there will be another seed”, “flower”, “baby plant”, “egg”. They have been observing all the new growth in the school garden as we near spring, the children have been wanting to learn more about flowers, plants, and seeds.

Ardentinny

Dear Parents/Carers,

Please note that the amber weather warning issued to Glasgow does not extend to Ardentinny and activities will go ahead as planned. All children are wrapped up warm and the very experienced instructors take additional precautions where necessary in cases of adverse weather. School staff and centre staff will cotinue to monitor the situation closely. We will update you with more info as required.

Join in Govanhill Library’s youth group for reading activities, project work and arts work to assist you with your studies. Get hints and tips and share experiences with other young people to help make homework a whole lot easier.

Every Friday 3.30-4.45pm for P4, P5, P6 and P7 pupils.

P1c Christmas Party

P1c had a great time this afternoon at their Christmas party.  We had party games, a super-exciting visit from Santa, party food and dancing.  What a great way to spend an afternoon!

A wonderful P1 Nativity!
