Holy Cross are delighted to have Jen from Place2be stationed at our school. She is available Monday – Wednesday for pupils to drop in for a chat if they wish. Information has been sent about the service provided and pupils are already taking advantage of this.

Outdoor Learning

During Outdoor Learning, Primary 6C have created a design and then built a tower using spaghetti and natural resources in the school garden. This challenge links design and technology, mathematics and science as they use problem-solving strategies and knowledge of two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes to build their towers.

Celebrating the Importance of Trees

Through Outdoor Learning Primary 6b have been celebrating the importance of trees. They have been creating decorations and dressing the trees in our school garden. Tree dressing is based on many old customs from all over the world. It brings us closer to the trees that play such an important role in our lives as well as to each other.
