We wished our classmates good luck as they were leaving for their Bollywood Dance performance tonight. Can’t wait to hear all about it tomorrow! ☺️

P5b visited Govanhill Library yesterday, following on from World Book Day.
The library staff gave the class a talk about how to find the books they are looking for and let them explore the wide variety of books available.
The children really enjoyed the visit and would like to thank the library staff for taking the time to help them become more familiar with the layout of the library.
Hopefully many more of the children will be encouraged to join the library and make use of this wonderful local facility!

We are all looking forward to showcasing our learning about Ancient Egypt in our assembly for our parents and carers tomorrow.
We had a dress rehearsal today with P1 and P2 as a fantastic audience.

Primary 2a were investigating the weather for our topic ‘A Princess Long Ago’. We filled our cups half full with water and added shaving foam. We then dropped in some food colouring and watched the rain fall. So cool!

As part of Science Week, P7 had a fantastic trip to the Science Centre today. We watched a show called All About Science and went to the IMAX to watch a short film called Born to be Wild. We had some time to explore the different floors and activities which we thoroughly enjoyed. You can see some of our photos below…

At this time of year, life can be tough for birds. Primary 6a have helped to look after the wildlife in our school garden. We have made bird feeders to help the birds through the winter.

Today there was a yellow weather warning and we couldn’t go outside to play. We don’t like not being active so we did some exercise in class. We really enjoyed dancing with Mrs Browne.

Primary 3 have been using the laptops to find out more information about the ancient Egyptian gods!
We learned lots of interesting facts that we can’t wait to share at our assembly!
