We enjoy learning our initial sounds! So far, we have learned s, a and t. Check us out- we can identify them, write them and even think of words that start with the sound! Miss O’Neill thinks we are so clever…. do you?

Winter Vomiting Bug
No doubt you have heard of the winter vomiting bug, often called norovirus. This is more common in winter months, although you can catch it at any time of the year. It spreads very easily and can affect anyone of any age. If your child displays symptoms of norovirus, NHS advice is to remain at home for 48 hours after symptoms stop. Please take a moment to look at the pictures below which illustrate ways to lower your risk of getting norovirus and what to do in the event that you do get it. If you need more information contact the NHS helpline on 0800 22 44 88 or click here.

Yesterday in science we made string cups to see how sounds travels. We made it out of paper cups and string and we talked to each other through them. The vibrations turned into energy which travelled through the string to the other cup.It worked well. By Saba and Calum P7a.
