P5a have been learning to measure length and distance using centimetres and metres. We can make a sensible estimate of the length of an object then check our estimation by choosing the most appropriate measuring tool and measuring with accuracy. 

Yesterday, we incorporated maths into our P.E. We went outdoors and enjoyed developing our long jump. We worked with a partner- one of us would jump, one of us would measure and record the distance that our friend jumped 😊👏🏼
