S1/S2
In S1 and S2 pupils have two periods of Technologies, one period is allocated to ICT and the other to Technical. To find out more course content visit our BGE pages. Pupils will be assessed on the Digital Literacy, Technologies and Social benchmarks at 3rd and 4th level.

S3
In S3 pupils continue with their Broad General Education but will have the opportunity to pick one, two or three of the Technologies subjects. These subjects include Administration and IT, Business Management, Computing Science, Graphics and Woodwork. Pupils will be assessed on the Digital Literacy, Technologies and Social benchmarks at 3rd and 4th level.

S4
In S4 pupils start to work towards their National Qualifications at either National 4, National 5 or Higher level. Pupils will study National Qualification courses for two years and sit SQA exams in S5. Pupils will be given the opportunity to select one, two or three of the Technologies subjects. These include Administration and IT, Business Management, Computing Science, Graphics and Woodwork.

In S5 pupils will continue to work towards their National Qualification subjects they chose in S4.
