Reporting Absence
If your child is absent, we kindly ask that you inform the Absence Reporting Line on 0141 471 3710. The line is open between 8:00am and 3:30pm (Monday to Friday). If your child is going to be absent it would be helpful to know at the earliest opportunity.

In Gowanbank Primary we are working hard to promote good attendance within the school. The info-graphics below explain the impact of missing out on school life.
If you have an on-going issue around attendance please contact a member of the School Leadership Team and we can discuss how to best support you.
We welcome your support in ensuring good attendance by keeping any term time absence to an absolute minimum and arranging appointments, other than emergency ones, outside of school hours wherever possible.
