Speaking more than one language is not uncommon. In fact, nearly half of the World Population speaks more than one language. There are many benefits of bilingualism with new research showing that being bilingual delays the onset of Dementia and other symptoms of Alzheimer.

Much Language Such Talk MLST podcast  is a language podcast answering your questions about language, learning, and culture.
You can learn about bi- and multilingualism and what it means to speak more than one language. Supporting Community Languages:

There are many community language schools across Glasgow including; Chinese, Arabic, Polish schools that run classes at the weekends. It is worth exploring local community language groups and classes to support children and young people’s home languages and supporting their bilingualism.
