Drumchapel High School is proud to be working with TIE and LGBT Youth Scotland to help us support our community in becoming an inclusive place for our young people.
Drumchapel High School is committed to being the best place to grow up for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex young people.
We have an LGBTQ+ club that meets every Wednesday during lunchtime. Everyone is welcome to attend.
With LGBTQ+ identities represented across our curriculum, young people are now better able to relate to and identify with role models. This, in turn, supports them in understanding and accepting their own gender identity and/or sexual orientation.
The school’s LGBTQ+ champions are currently Ms. Sweeney, Ms. Ritson, Ms. Doran, and Ms. Hinkley
