Head Teacher Welcome

My vision for Crookston Castle is based around High Expectations. I want our children to be given the best possible start in life in a safe, nurturing environment where children are supported and challenged. I want everyone in the school community to share this vision to ensure that every child thrives and achieves their full potential. We want all of our children to flourish, be the amazing human beings that they can be and reach positive career destinations when they are older. As part of that vision I want Crookston to have a warm, welcoming ethos where everyone is valued and respected. I want our children to be resilient and have the confidence and self-belief to overcome any barriers to learning. The children will be encouraged to develop a growth mindset in which they will be encouraged to learn from their mistakes, and see failure as just another stepping stone towards success. I want all of our children to reach for the stars and achieve their dreams and to positively celebrate their achievements. I also want to ensure that we become more than a school, I want us to become a learning community where all members of that community can work together for the interests of the children.

I very much look forward to building strong, meaningful, lasting relationships and make Crookston Castle Primary a centre of excellence.
