At Cranhill we are delighted to have achieved the Bronze Rights Respecting Schools Award.
We are committed to promoting and realising children’s rights as set out in the UNCRC. Our school community learn about children’s rights and put them into practice. The adults and children in Cranhill work towards this goal together every day. Our Rights Ambassadors our a key part of making sure everyone knows their rights and the rights of others, and put them into practice in the day to day life of our school.
We know that children’s rights are important for wellbeing, participation, relationships and self-esteem. Understanding these rights means that our children:
- are healthier and happier;
- feel safer;
- have better relationships;
- become active and involved in school life and the wider world.
