Welcome to Cranhill Primary School! Situated in the heart of Glasgow’s East End, our school has proudly served the Cranhill community since it first opened its doors in 2005, with a rich history rooted in care, resilience, and community spirit. Today, we continue to build on that strong foundation, offering a warm, inclusive environment where every child is nurtured, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential. We are proud of our close partnerships with families and the wider community, and we remain committed to fostering a love of learning in a safe and welcoming space.
In our most recent inspection by Education Scotland (2024), we were proud to have our warm, inclusive school community recognised. The report highlighted the strong, supportive relationships we’ve built between our children, staff, and families, as well as the positive, nurturing environment we work hard to create every day. Inspectors praised our dedicated team and the way we support every child’s learning and wellbeing. We were especially pleased that our commitment to continuous improvement and partnership working was commended—reflecting our shared goal of helping all our learners thrive.
