Online courses for Scottish Schools…
Scholar currently offers 37 online courses for Scottish schools that align with SQA courses at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher level.
Scholar materials draw on the knowledge and experience of teachers working in Scottish schools to develop their interactive and engaging course materials.
Scholar is perfectly suited to enhance knowledge and skills development and support blended learning for pupils studying national qualifications in S4, 5 and 6.
Scholar at Cleveden Secondary
We use Scholar to support learning in the classroom and learning at home, The materials encourage learners to work on their own initiative and take greater responsibility for organising and planning their own learning.
You don’t need to register – this happens automatically on enrolment on the course at school and you can log in directly from your personal GLOW launchpad.

Broad range of subjects online..
Although not every course we offer at Cleveden Secondary is available on Scholar there is nonetheless an extensive range available.
When you are enrolled for a course it will appear in your list of courses within the Scholar interface and is available for you to use.
At the moment Scholar have fast-forwarded some enrolments to help with the situation in relation to Coronavirus. However it has not been possible to auto-enrol everyone for every course at this time though this will all be in place for August return to school.
In the meantime you can access Scholar from your GLOW launchpad and if you can’t see a course in your list select “Display other courses” bottom right of the Scholar home page to see all courses on offer at Cleveden Secondary and available on Scholar.
Any problems please just leave a message on Teams for your class teacher and they will help you get organised.
