Our school choir were busy spreading cheer in the community last Thursday! They performed for a lovely audience at the shopping centre, singing their hearts out. Afterwards, they got to join in with all the fun activities happening at the community event.
Well done to our amazing choir — you made everyone smile! 🎶✨
Our Breakfast Club has been busy fundraising — and they did an amazing job! They raised over £200 to buy exciting new games for everyone to enjoy in the mornings.

On Wednesday, our Creative Café opened its doors for the very first time! Parents, carers and families joined some of our pupils for lots of fun art activities. Everyone worked together to make some brilliant pieces of artwork.
A big thank-you to all the families who came along and helped make our first Creative Café such a success!

Leadership at Camstradden!
At Camstradden, all children from Primary 2 upwards get the chance to join one of our exciting Leadership Groups. On the first Friday of every month, these groups meet to share ideas and help make our school an even better place.
So next time it’s the first Friday of the month, keep an eye out for:
The Clean Corridor Gang checking that our cloakrooms are tidy,
The Litter Gang helping Frankie with litter picks,
The Language Ambassadors making sure every child’s voice is heard – in lots of different languages,
The Library Taskforce keeping our library neat and organised,
…and many more brilliant groups!
We’re excited for our Primary 1 pupils to join the groups later in the year.
At Camstradden, everyone can make a difference!

Primary 5/4 did a treasure hunt to celebrate Scottish Book week. They went to the school library – where else! – and solved clues and puzzles all about children’s books and authors. Learning and having fun!

Here’s a snapshot of what Primary 7/6 did to celebrate Scottish Book Week.
Fun with Senses in the Acorn Base!
The Acorn Base loves doing lots of sensory work and sensory play! These activities help pupils learn new words, build new skills, and—best of all—they’re super fun.
Here’s a little snapshot of all the exciting things that have been happening recently!
