What is Developing the Young workforce?

Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is the Scottish Government’s Youth Employment strategy to better prepare young people for the world of work.

At Blairdardie, we want all pupils to aspire to a positive destination in the future after their education. We aim to support pupils identifying their skill set in relation to work as well as learning about a range of careers as they progress through school.  If you have a skill/career that you’d like to share with our pupils we would be happy to hear from you.
