Primary 5/4 had great fun on their summer trip to Mugdock Country Park. Here are a few pictures showing just how much they enjoyed themselves.
P5/4 performed really well at the dress rehearsal of the school show. They are singing and dancing to ‘Consider Yourself’ from the musical ‘Oliver.’ Here are some pictures of the ‘Street Urchins’ in their costumes.
Primary 5/4 have been working on fractions. They used challenge cards to make Pizzas with different fractions of toppings. They had great fun.
Primary 5/4 have really enjoyed all the planned activities that they have taken part in this week. They have participated in: Football, boxing, zumba,healthy food tasting and community litter picking. Here are some pictures of them enjoying themselves.
The pupils in primary 5/4 made some royal headdresses related to their topic. Don’t they look regal!
The streets of Balornock are much cleaner after primary 5/4 set to work picking up litter using the correct tools, and binning it.
Primary 5/4 really enjoyed their visit to Barmulloch library. The children were keen to ask questions and to borrow books.
Primary 5/4 really enjoyed looking at the Ancient Egyptian artefacts. They particularly enjoyed taking part in the role play of Mummification and learning all the gory details.
P4/5 really enjoyed their visit to the Science Centre. Shu Fei was helping with an experiment related to the digestive system. Jodie and Kelsey were pumping oxygen into a healthy and an unhealthy lung. Emily was showing us that our intestines stretch to 7.5 metres, and Melny took part in an experiment to show us how hard our heart works to pump blood all round our body. What a great
