STEM Week
This week Primary 4/3 have been very busy celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
On Wednesday we were very lucky to have a visit from two Zoologists. They explained to us how they learn about the behaviours and care of different animals, even bringing a few along!
We met two corn snakes who were brother and sister, and they even let us hold them! We had a fantastic time and asked super questions.
To celebrate Maths we worked in pairs to solve a problem where we had to use cubes to build pyramids of different sizes. At first we found this difficult, but after sharing our techniques we had great success.
What a fun week! Miss McMillan can see lots of future scientist and engineers!
