As part of our topic on India, we have been creating some beautiful Mehndi designs. People in India decorate their skin with these detailed designs as part of various celebrations such as weddings and festivals.

We are having a practice before we sell our artwork at the Christmas Fayre this Friday. We will be using facepaint to draw them on to your hands instead of the traditional Henna. 50p a hand – Bargain!

Henna is a temporary dye that comes from the Henna plant.
