Primary 6

This week Primary 6 have been writing some fantastic stories based on a short animation film. We were focusing on including a variety of punctuation, connectives, sentence openers and interesting vocabulary in our stories.

We have been working with money this week during our maths lessons and were converting pence to pounds and pounds to pence. We have also been adding and subtracting different amounts of money and finding different ways to make amounts of money using a variety of notes and coins.

During our Science lessons we explored how light sources allow us to see and the direction that light travels in. We also have been  learning about transparent, translucent and opaque materials.

As we have been finding out all about the Scottish Parliament this week we have been learning about the different roles involved in the Parliament. We looked at the type of responsibilities the First Minister, the Presiding Officer, the Cabinet Ministers and the MSPs have.

We have had a very busy week and hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
