Dia de los Muertos en P4
Here’s what we learned this week…..
Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican festival starting on Halloween.
It means day of the Dead!!!!
We made masks to celebrate it. Mexicans dress up too.
They put out things that the people who have died liked when they were alive.
The spirits visit. The children come back on the first day, the adults , the next day.
Mexicans leave food out for them too and when it goes rotten, that means the spirits have come back.
