Ola was asked over to Dublin to help promote the 2017 Junk Kouture competition. Here is a few photos of her getting ready and posing with a couple of the judges.
Junk Kouture 2016 – Blue Peter
After winning Scotland’s Junk Kouture, Ola was asked down to the Blue Peter studies in Manchester. Ola took part in a live show along with the Scottish Glamour prize winner and the Ireland 2016 Winner and Ireland Glamour winner. She got to show off her design and earn a green Blue Peter badge at the same time. Ola also produced a very short video where she showed you how to make some junk jewellery.

Junk Kouture 2016
As well as winning Junk Kouture, Ola also made time to document the whole process and present it as a video. Here is the link to the video. Unfortunately the music was pulled from this video. I have included another link so that you can play this music behind the video. There is also a link of her on stage performing her routine. We hope you enjoy viewing them.

Junk Kouture 2016 – Winner
A fantastic night was completed at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall when Ola went on to win the Junk Couture competition. This is the 2nd time the competition has came to Scotland and Hillhead High has been lucky enough to win it twice. Ola has now won this competition as part of a group and also as an individual. This work was also used as her Higher design folio which she went on to score full marks in and helped her achieve an A for her Higher Art & Design. Well done Ola! A fantastic piece of work.
