This week we had more exciting trips!

in the morning half of us went skiing and tubing at Bellahouston ski centre. It was awesome!

we all reunited in the afternoon at the Quadrangle- an amazing hidden gem in Pollokshields. We played games, relaxed and ate the most delicious pizzas from the outdoor pizza oven!

Last week of eco drama and first week of Barrowland Ballet

We have had a fun week outdoors this week.

first we had our final week of eco drama. We learned all about Mother Nature and how we must care for our world.
our final activity was us creating our own natural paint using items found in the playground and using it to create our own images of Mother Nature.

yesterday we had our introduction session with Barrowland ballet.
We can wait to work with them again in a couple of weeks

First week of May- Outdoor learning

Although we are only in school for 3 days this week, we have packed in loads of fun activities and learning!

on Tuesday we had cricket on the MUGA. We were practising our fielding and teamwork skills as well as throwing and catching.
*editor Webster note* Please remember that you have cricket every Tuesday and you must bring a full change of clothes for this!

Okay back to us. On Wednesday we had our second week with Sophie from Eco Drama. This week she was teaching us all about birds and how to take characteristics from birds to create our own human characters. We got into groups and created short dramas based on birds. Some were hunters, gatherers, flockers, fighters and peace makers. We are looking forward to our next session with Sophie next week!
