It’s important to remember that things are difficult right now and it’s okay to feel however you feel. You might feel happy and excited at times but you might also feel sad and maybe a little angry at times too. That’s okay. I feel all these things too.
The staff at St Albert’s have made a video all about feelings and what you can do during these difficult times when you are feeling sad.
Stay safe and remember it’s okay to feel!
Miss you all so much.
How are you all today? I’m feeling a bit tired and sluggish today so I thought we would have an active day today and get those bodies moving in any way we can.
Here are some suggestions…
Joe Wicks has a number of daily PE lessons to follow on his YouTube page. I couldn’t pick one for you as there are so many great ones so check them out.

This video is a workout you can do with the family.
Why not make up your own exercise routine for everyone at home and pretend you are the teacher.
Whatever you choose to do today, try and choose one thing that gets you moving and keep you active. Today I’m going to put some of my favourite music on and dance!
I hope you all have a great day. I would love to hear what active things you get up to.
Today let’s focus on stories. Watch some stories on YouTube, read books at home with family or make up your own. Talk to your family about reading and the books you love.
Things to think and talk about:
* did you enjoy the story?
* what about the story did you enjoy?
* what did you not like about the story?
* if you read/watch more than one, which was your favourite and why?
* who were your favourite characters?
* where was the story set? Did you like that about the book?
Reading and watching stories during Lockdown is a great way to pass the time. We may not be able to leave the house but we can go anywhere we want using our imagination. Let books and stories transport you to different places!

Have a wonderful Tuesday reading and listening to stories!! I can’t wait to hear what you chose to read and what you thought of the story.
Let’s write stories today. Here are some suggestions to get you started….
* write a story about someone you know. Maybe a family member, a friend or a teacher. What adventures do they go on?
* write a story about a fantasy character. Maybe a monster, fairy or witch. Write about what they look like and where they live.
* write a story about you. Where might you go and what might you do?
These are some suggestions but you can make your story about anything you like. Have fun with it and add an illustration.
Please send me your stories, I would love to read them 🥰
I hope you are all doing well. Let’s have a cosy day today and do nice soothing things in our comfys! Here are some suggestions for you today.
Why not do some Japanese art in your PJs this morning?
Or do some nice relaxing meditation with Mrs Creevy today.
or why not get all cosy with a snack, some teddies, maybe even make a cosy den and listen to some lovely stories read by our wonderful infant teachers.
Take some time today to relax and have a great day.
Miss you all loads!
Yesterday the Infant teachers were in school getting organised for the new term. Our classroom misses you!!
We have been gifted some gorgeous sunny weather and today is to be another lovely day. Why not create a scrap book of the outdoors with Mr Corrigan?
Or go for a nice mindful walk or play in your garden and take a note of these things…
5 things you can see
5 things you can hear
5 things you can smell
5 things you can touch
5 things you can taste
If you can’t get outdoors today then sit by an open window (carefully and with an adult if up high). Fresh air and staying in the present is good for the mind ☺️
Stay safe!!
Miss Milne 🙂
