We’ve had a busy two weeks with our Tramway performance, a house trip for Venus to the Science Centre, assessments of our Term 3 work and an afternoon at the library. We also made pizzas as a reward for getting to 4000 Dojo points as a class and they were delicious!
Last week in Science week, we learned:
- that gravity and friction are forces
- about solids, liquids and gases
- that some changes are reversible and some are irreversible
- some words to label a skeleton like skull, pelvis and ribs
- to use the senses for describing
- about different molecules with our STEM
- what it feels to rehearse and perform on a real professional dance stage!
This week, we have:
- learned a new game in P.E. called Pirates where you have to steal from other teams
- had visitors from Glendale Gaelic school
- learned about Dewey Decimal system at Pollokshields Library
- given our opinions to the inspectors who are visiting after the holidays
- assessed our Term 3 learning
- thought about signs of spring and made arty crafty things for our wall
- learned about the legend of Robin Hood
