Weekly Reflection

This week we were sorting and we sorted coins, bowls, sticks and cards. This taught us about patterns – Iqra.

This week we have also been doing work on Fairtrade. In our jotters, we had to draw four pictures of Fairtrade products. Here is what I drew: a latte, a banana, chocolate and a juice carton – Danial.

We learned about animals from the SPCA. People are taking tiger’s skin to make carpets. I feel horrible about this – Noor Fatima.

This week we have learned more about skimming. Skimming is when you have a quick look – Eshal.

We learned about Amelia Earhart. We were writing all about her. She was a very brave woman. She was very good at flying aeroplanes – Malaika.

We have been learning about even more about transport. We painted the sky, the road and the sea and then we sorted five different means of transport into the right place – Anum.

Yesterday we were dressed up in Fairtrade colours because it’s Fairtrade fortnight. We ate Fairtrade snacks and watched a video about Fairtrade -Haiqa
