This week we were completing our learning on Clans and Castles learning about the Scottish Wars of Independence. We learned about William Wallace and how he fought for the freedom of Scotland after King Alexander III died and the King of England, Edward I was trying to take over. We discussed our ideas for what should have happened when King Alexander died.

We have also been finishing off our learning about 3D shapes and their properties. We can describe them talking about faces, edges and corners.

This week was Islamic Awareness week. We learned about the five pillars of Islam and what each of these mean to Muslim people. Today we had a celebration day and some of us wore Islamic dress. There was a celebration in the hall in the afternoon with music and food.
