In the main nursery reception we have the following areas for you to take books or resources home to share with your child:

Lending library:

Children can select a book to share at home; each book comes with its own sticker system where a child puts a sticker against their name in the folder of which book they are taking home.  Children can change their book for a new one or sometimes, if it’s a special story, they like to take the same book home again to share – this is perfectly fine!

We also have a ‘Book of the term’  for your child to choose.

We have an adult and child book swap area, where you can bring in any books you have read or your child has ‘grown out of’ and swap it for a different one.

We also have maths baskets with simple ideas you can use at home, using everyday items, to develop maths language and skills.
