Torbain School Values

At Torbain Primary School/Nursery we believe children should have the right to the best possible childhood where they are respected, listened to, safe & happy.

Our School Values of Friendship, Fairness, Respect and Honesty underpin all we do at Torbain. These values are fully embedded into our learning and teaching as well as acting as a foundation for our high behaviour expectations. Time is spent in class at the start of each session discussing the values and how they look in action, then this work is carried on throughout the year, being regularly referred to.

Children are recognised for displaying the values in different ways: by their peers, by their teacher or on a wider level through assemblies.
