Community Cafes at Torbain

Our Community Cafes have resumed for the 24-25 session and will be running throughout the school year. Pupil Ambassador Groups will be involved in running these events which are open to all in the school and the wider community.

FAIRTRADE CAFE

Our Fair Trade Ambassadors and P5/6 led the first Community Cafe in September. They presented to their audience confidently and shared the role of the Fair Trade Pupil Voice Ambassadors and how they lead Fair Trade. P.5/6 visited Sainsbury’s as part of their learning in class to find out more about Fair Trade. They enjoyed baking with Jackie and Mrs Davidson in preparation for the Community Cafe.

FRENCH & SPANISH CAFE

Our French and Spanish Ambassadors led our next Community Cafe. Mrs Murray leads our Ambassador Group and the children shared how they promote learning of languages across all stages in the school.
