At St Monans we actively encourage all pupils to wear school uniform. We believe it promotes inclusion and equality, provides safe, sensible attire for school and creates a
positive impression of the school in the community and outwith St. Monans. Wearing suitable dress is also part of promoting a life skill where pupils are more aware of the need to dress
appropriately. The school uniform consists of a royal blue sweatshirt (white logo) and white polo shirt (royal blue logo) which can be purchased through the school. Girls wear navy, black or grey skirts; the boys wear navy, black or grey trousers. School jumpers, fleeces, jackets and gym bags complete with school logo are also available for purchase.
From May 2016 School Uniform can be purchased online from Tesco, go to: tesco.com/ues

In 2014-15 we adopted a further option of a school tie which can be purchased at school. Sensible, dark footwear should be worn. We accept that some parents are happy for their children to wear trainers to school but would ask that these are black or brown please.
Every child should have a PE kit in school at all times which should include dark shorts and white tee-shirt. Joggers can also be worn. Children should have gym shoes or trainers for
PE. Parents eligible for assistance in purchasing school uniform should complete an application form which is available from the Local Office or online at www.fifedirect.gov.uk under ‘School
Clothing Grant’.
