The Ecology Centre enables young people, families and adults of all ages and abilities to experience, learn and benefit from the natural world in a safe and friendly environment.  Our infant school work closely with the Ecology Centre to provide our pupils with fantastic outdoor learning experiences within our school grounds, in the Pannie Den and on site at the Ecology centre.

The Ecology Centre support outdoor learning in our school through many different ways. All our teaching staff and management have had outdoor learning training led by the Ecology Centre’s education team to help improve our own outdoor learning skills.

There are so many benefits of outdoor learning. Time in nature can help our children feel happier, more focused and engaged with learning as well as having a positive impact on their physical health.
