Rights Respecting Schools

The RRSA is a UNICEF scheme based on the UN Convention of Rights for the Child, which lies at the heart of humanity and at the core of the ethos of schools and communities. It is not only about teaching children about their rights but about reinforcing the universal principles of behaviour and values within their society.

Our schools is undertaking this award scheme, which will align our school ethos and codes of conduct with the collective consensus throughout the planet – as virtually every country in the world has agreed upon the convention.

All children use UNICEF guidelines for creating a class charter at the start of each year.

All children know that they have rights but with those rights come responsibilities!
